Your project helped me understand the value of junked bike parts.
I went to a motorcyle junkyard/graveyard for the first time looking for an exhaust for my daughter's 80cc honda scooter. I left really thinking that what I saw was mostly tons of trash with little or no value. Everything had to be refinished (maybe because of humidity here in Houston).
What I did notice was that there were many frames that I could see becoming the start of custom projects. I had trouble seeing beyound that. What I got from your projects is that all it takes is just a few pieces (fenders, seat, etc..) that can really make a difference.
